easySAR is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard.
This statement explains the current accessibility status of the site, known issues we are working to fix, and how to contact us if you experience problems.
easySAR is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The known non-compliances and planned fixes are listed below.
The wizard step navigation is rendered as an inline SVG. Screen readers may not announce the current step or allow keyboard navigation between steps.
đ§ Fix planned â Q2 2026The date picker popup (Day/Month/Year dropdowns) may not be fully navigable by keyboard alone. Users relying on keyboard navigation may have difficulty selecting dates.
đ§ Fix planned â Q2 2026The tile-based scope selection in Step 3 does not currently announce selection state changes to screen readers via ARIA live regions.
đ§ Fix planned â Q2 2026The animated canvas background may cause distraction for users with vestibular disorders. A "reduce motion" preference is not currently respected.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018. easySAR is a private service and these regulations do not currently apply, but we are committed to meeting their standard voluntarily.
